Sparkling glassware
If your glasses have lost their lustre, soak them in warm water with a little detergent and a few drops of bleach. Leave them for a few minutes, wipe them with a cloth and rinse. Finally, add a few spoonfuls of vinegar to plenty of cold water and rinse them again. You will be amazed by the sparkle of your glassware.

Treatment for bruises
If you have just given yourself a nasty knock, avoid getting an ugly-looking bruise with this simple remedy. Soak a sanitary towel in vinegar and place it directly over the bruise. Cover this with a piece of plastic and then a towel to keep it warm. Leave it to act for half an hour and replace it two or three times.
